Abstract

The Premier, with the consideration that sturgeon fish stocks and other precious biological resources of Ural and Caspian basins that represent national property, for the purpose of protection, stock enhancement and management thereof, decrees to entitle the Ministry of Ecology and Biological Resources, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Committee of National Security, State Customs Committee, heads of provincial administrations of Atyrau, Mangistau and West Kazakhstan to carry out annually specific arrangements aimed at ensuring protection of sturgeon fish stocks in the areas of their spawning, fattening, hibernation and migration. The Ministry of Ecology and Biological Resources, heads of provincial administrations of Atyrau and West Kazakhstan shall jointly elaborate arrangements for the prevention of pollution of the Ural river especially spawning grounds of sturgeon fishes by preventing discharge of non-purified effluent water from the territory of aforesaid provinces. The Ministry of Ecology and Biological Resources, the Ministry of Economy with the participation of the ministries and the departments concerned shall annually elaborate and carry out arrangement for the improvement of functioning of fishing inspection.
