Abstract This Ministerial Decree sets forth the safety requirements for imported and domestically-produced feedstuffs and animal feed additives to be sold in Kazakhstan as feedstuffs, semi-finished products or raw materials used to manufacture other feedstuffs irrespectively of the utilized technology. It does not apply to homemade feedstuffs destined for individual consumption and also to feedstuffs manufactured from genetically modified products. Feedstuffs and animal feed additives shall be authorized if accompanied by: (a) compliance documentation; (b) a document attesting to their origin; and (c) marking information. It shall be prohibited to sell feedstuffs and animal feed additives: (a) past their expiration date; (b) that have spoiled; or (c) that lack proper labels and producer data. Manufacturing feedstuffs and animal feed additives using animal tissue (except for fish and other aquatic non-mammals) shall be prohibited. Full text Russian Website www.government.kz
