Abstract

This Ministerial Decree regulates relations in the sphere of hunting, hunting management, use of hunting resources, reproduction thereof, protection of game and natural habitats of wild fauna. Hunting Regulation consists of 9 Sections: (1) general provisions; (2) authorization for hunting and hunting management; (3) hunting modalities; (4) rules, periods and hunting methods; (5) hunting with hunting birds and hunting dogs; (6) use of wild fauna species for scientific research, cultural, educational and aesthetic purposes; (7) wildlife products; (8) management and state control over protection and management of hunting fund; and (9) liability. Hunting fund shall comprise all wild fauna species, including those in captive breeding, endangered and protected animals recorded in the Red Book, and also wild animals pertaining to nature reserve fund. Hunting fund shall not be subject to privatization and can pertain only to state property. State Forest Service shall establish authorized hunting gear, hunting methods, hunting periods and shall set hunting quotas. Reserves, national parks and nature monuments shall be prohibited for hunting.
