Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force as from the day of its publication on the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The provisions of this Decree establish the terms and conditions according to which a vine variety belonging to the specifies Vitis vinifera or come from a cross between this species and other species of the genus Vitis (as prescribed in article 19 of Council Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 on the common organisation of the market in wine), it is possible to be classified, taking into consideration objective criteria concerning the variety’s farming adaptability as well as the characteristics of the products that are produced by the varieties under review, according to the provisions of article 20, paragraph 2 of Council Regulation (EC)1227/2000.
