Entry into force notes
This Ministerial Decree enters into force ten calendar days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Ministerial Decree provides sanitary classification of industrial facilities establishing 5 classes of hazard and the length of sanitary protection zone for each class. Facilities for production of pesticides, synthetic chemical and pharmaceutical products, large swine, cattle, poultry and meat production facilities are listed as industrial facilities of hazard class 1. Facilities for antibiotics production fall within hazard class 2. In particular, this Ministerial Decree refers to processing of non-edible products of animal origin, recycling of fallen animals and dead fishes, processing of foodstuffs and food additives. Business entities classified as hazardous are considered to be sources of impact on environment and public health if exceed maximum allowable limit of concentration of pollutants by 0, 1. Sanitary protection zones shall be established with a view of ensuring safety of the population and reduction of air pollution.
