The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree, in accordance with article 9 of Ministerial Decree No. Υ2/2600/2001and by taking into account that the supply of water intended for human consumption in certain geographical areas cannot otherwise be maintained by any other reasonable means, provides for derogations from the parametric values set out in Annex I, Part B in a certain area (Thessalonica region) listed in article 2 to this Decree. Article 3 provides for the quality standards (derogation up to a maximum parametric value of 2 mg/lt for fluorine for three years). Article 4 provides for the timescale for compliance while article 5 establishes sanctions (provided for in article 3 of Law No. 2520/1940 as amended by Law No. 290/1943).
