Abstract

By this Decree, the rules regarding safe storage and handling of hazardous waste in industrial and manufacturing sectors were approved for protection of human health and environment. This Decree sets forth provisions on general requirements, storage and disposal of hazardous waste and also protection of the workers and taking preventive safety measures during the storage and disposal of hazardous waste. These rules do not cover harmful gases, waste water and radioactive waste. This Decree states that inventory of wastes shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Ministerial Decree No. 13 on approval of rules on inventory of wastes arising from production process and waste permitting procedures shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Ministerial Decree No. 41 on approval of rules for hazardous waste permit.
