The Decree shall enter into force ten days after the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

With this Decree, the Special Regulation No. 188 of Piraeus port is approved. The Regulation provides for a number of fishery matters falling under the competence of the Central Port authority of Piraeus. Its provisions shall have effect in the ports, gulfs and marine areas under the Central Port authority of Piraeus jurisdiction, as established by the current provisions. The Regulation lays down general and specific prohibitions on fishing (arts. 2, 6, 10), requires a fishing licence for fishing activities (art. 3), sets the procedures for issuance and renovation of fishing licenses (arts. 4, 5), establishes the obligations of fishing vessels owners (art. 7), makes provisions for underwater fishing (art. 10) and for fishing boats anchorage (art. 11). Article 12 establishes sanctions.
