Abstract This Decree bans the import of live birds and its products from the Province of Bengal in India, until the publishing of a Decision ending this ban. A veterinary health certificate is necessary for the import of live birds and their products from India, except the Province of Bengal. This certificate shall respect the international standards setting of the OIE, insure the absence of bird flu, and certify the conditions of the transport containers used for the consignments.
