The Agency shall carry out the following functions: (a) carrying out medical and sanitary arrangements for the prevention, localization and mitigation of the consequences of emergency situations, radiation, chemical and biological disasters and nuclear and radiation accidents; (b) information of state bodies of sanitary and epidemiological state of the population and territory; and (c) medical, biological and chemical testing of firearms for civilian use.
