Abstract This Decree aims at developing and adopting sanitary, environmental, geological, hydrological, technological, metrological standards, norms and regulations considering scientific and technical progress and establishing limits to water use. This Decree specifies the state agencies responsible of setting rules and standards for the conservation and use of ground and surface water bodies, as well as of the Azerbaijani section of Caspian Sea.
