The objective of state geological supervision shall be to ensure enforcement by all subsoil managers of subsoil management requirements. The authorized institution to carry out geological supervision shall be the Ministry of Natural resources and Environmental Protection. The aforesaid Ministry shall carry out supervision over: (a) compliance of subsoil managers with the requirements of subsoil legislation; (b) compliance of subsoil managers with licensing terms and conditions; (c) supervision over exploration of subsoil; (d) availability of technical (technological) projects; and (e) registration of mining activities and mining licences.
