Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of setting quota for alimentary raw materials, used for re-processing for manufacturing of biofuel, in case for risks to national food security. In case of risks for food security, identified in the course of constant monitoring of the state of food security, local self-government shall forward information to the authorized state institution in the sphere of biofuel manufacturing which shall analyze the situation with the consideration of available stock of alimentary raw materials projected for transformation in biofuel. Subsequently the authorized state institution in the sphere of biofuel manufacturing shall submit to the Government draft decision on setting quotas that shall be calculated in accordance with the formula contained in this Ministerial Decree. Imported alimentary raw materials, used for re-processing for manufacturing of biofuel, shall be excluded from quota setting.
