Raw materials used for juice production shall be safe for human beings and comply with hygienic and microbiological safety requirements. Packages and packaging materials shall comply with food safety requirements. The use of natural food additives shall be allowed for the processing of juices. Measurement of safety indices of juices is contained in the Annex 5. Packaging of juices shall ensure safe transportation of produce.
