Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that state water register shall contain data on water quality and water quantity, and also on the use of water resources on the national territory. Data of state water register shall be required for: (a) consideration of water factor for the location of industrial enterprises; (b) elaboration of water management and water protection schemes; (c) projecting of waterworks; (d) international cooperation in the sphere of water management and water protection; (c) regulation of relations between water users; (d) state regulation of rational water management and water protection; (e) rate setting for water consumption and setting of ecological requirements for effluent waste water discharge; and (f) keeping registers of other natural resources. State water register shall consist of register of surface water, register of groundwater and register of water uses. The main water registration documentation shall be: (a) materials characterizing the state of water resources; (b) statistical data of water users; (c) catalogue of waterbodies; and (d) state water register.
