It requires foodstuffs to comply with sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary standards and technical requirements. Foodstuffs must comply with the requirements on chemical and biological substances, including microbiological, radioactive and other potentially hazardous substances. Infant food must have nutritional values that correspond to age and development requirements and must be safe for human health.
