Abstract

This Ministerial Decree designates 7540.7 hectares of the Karadarya River in the provinces of Andijan and Namangan as a water protection zone, and 1213. 1 hectares of the river as a water conservation zone, in accordance with Annex 1. Local executive bodies shall expropriate coastal land from landlords and tenants and transfer them to water management organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management for coastal reinforcement, forest reclamation and other measures to protect against water pollution. The State Committee on Land Resources shall issue certificates of indefinite land tenancy to such water management organizations.
