The purpose of this Technical regulation shall be to protect human life and health, and also prevention fraud and deceit of consumers. Raw materials used for production of juices, nectars and fruit- and vegetable containing beverages shall comply with food safety requirements established by technical regulations and must have accompanying documents. Vegetable raw materials must have certificate of origin specifying application of pesticides, fumigation of production and storage facilities and premises for the purpose of pest control. Juices, nectars and fruit- and vegetable containing beverages circulating on the national territory must comply with hygienic and sanitary safety requirements.
