Abstract This decree consists of 6 articles, and it sets forth the organization of the establishment of vegetable nurseries in Egypt. It prohibits the production of vegetable seedlings without a license from the Ministry of Agriculture and land reform, limiting it to one license per person for a private nursery. Article 4 of this decree explains the process of licensing of nurseries. According to article 5, nurseries in phases of production will go through periodical inspection by technical committees.
