Abstract This Resolution amends article 59 of Resolution No. 3007 of 2001 on Egyptian Quarantine Rules as follows: (a) the importation of honey bees, queen bees, honey-combs and swarms is prohibited except for honey, semen and queen food which may be authorized by the Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine according to specific requirements; (b) the introduction of bee honey by passengers is prohibited; and (c) all bee honey intended for the exportation shall be subject to agricultural quarantine.
