This Resolution enters into force on the day after its publication on the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Resolution amends article 59 of Resolution No. 3007 of 2001 on Egyptian Quarantine Rules as follows: (a) the importation of honey bees, queen bees, honey-combs and swarms is prohibited except for honey, semen and queen food which may be authorized by the Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine according to specific requirements; (b) the introduction of bee honey by passengers is prohibited; and (c) all bee honey intended for the exportation shall be subject to agricultural quarantine.
