Article 59 prohibits the import of honey bees in any form (queens – tablets – parcels ) unless authorized by the Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine , and under certain conditions mentioned. Honey bees imported should be free from all diseases and insects and match the requirements about absences of residue. All exported bees go through quarantine for analyses and tests.
