This Ministerial Decree enters into force three months after its official publication.
Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes the procedure for setting rates of allowable discharges of chemical and other substances in waste water (rates of discharge), including provisional rates of allowable discharges of chemical and other substances in waste water, including the procedure for their approval and review. Rates (provisional rates) of discharge shall be set forth for legal persons and individual entrepreneurs performing in accordance with the projected documentation discharge of effluent waste water to surface waterbodies, also through reclamation systems. Rates (provisional rates) for discharges are set at each outlet discharging effluent waste water for pollutants included in the list of regulated polluting substances in waste water composition, according to the Annex. Rates (provisional rates) for discharges include: (a) permissible concentration of pollutants in wastewater, discharged into a surface waterbody; (b) maximum permissible mass of pollutants in waste water, discharged into a surface waterbody over a certain period of time.
