Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that state hygienic registration of foodstuffs shall be mandatory for legal and natural persons carrying out manufacturing, import and trade of foodstuffs. Hygienic certificate shall be issued for foodstuffs that have passed hygienic registration. The applicant shall submit the following documentation: (a) application containing full applicant’s data; (b) compliance certificate issued by local sanitary authority; (c) copy of contract for imported foodstuffs; (d) samples (specimen) of foodstuffs; and (e) copy of receipt of payment for biological, chemical and toxicological expertise of foodstuffs. The following information shall be recorded in the process of registration: (a) serial number; (b) registration date; (c) registration number; (d) information on the applicant (legal or natural person); (e) name and address of the producer; and (f) product name.
