Abstract

The present Regulation regards the sphere of ensuring quality and safety of food additives and shall be applicable to all legal and natural persons carrying out processing and (or) trade of food additives. Quality and safety of food additives shall be ensured by: 1) the state registration thereof; 2) the state sanitary supervision over manufacturing and trade thereof; 3) production quality control. Quality of food additives shall be subject to the constant monitoring at every stage of the production process. It shall be prohibited to specify on packages, wrapping and labels, and also in the consumer instructions the medical indications and medicinal properties.
