Hazardous substances and hazardous non-domestic waste imported to and exported from the national territory shall be subject to mandatory ecological certification. Ecological certificate shall be the document attesting safety of the produce manufactured on the national territory and it can be marked by Ecological certification symbol at request submitted by an applicant. The grounds for the issuance of import and export authorization of produce and waste subject to mandatory ecological certification shall be ecological certificate issued or recognized by ecological certification authority of Uzbekistan. Ecological certificate or copy thereof shall be shown to customs authority and shall be checked before admission of the produce to the national customs territory.
