Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of trade of sturgeon fish species and caviar caught by state enterprises exercising state monopoly on external and internal markets. Storage of the aforesaid fish products shall conform to epidemiological, hygienic and sanitary requirements. Trade shall be authorized in the presence of food safety certificate. Label shall bear information on expiry date, nutritional value, composition and storage conditions. Trade of unlabelled sturgeon fishes and caviar shall be prohibited. Labelling of sturgeon fishes and caviar for external and internal trade shall be carried out in accordance with the modalities set forth by the authorized state institution.
