Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that in case of outbreak of infectious animal diseases transmissible from animals to human beings shall be undertaken such measures as compulsory slaughter of sick animals in order to prevent mass mortality of animals. In case of the outbreak of anthrax hotbeds shall be identified and registered, the perimeter shall be fenced off with sings bearing inscription “anthrax”, veterinary and sanitary inspection shall be carried out at all places of mass gathering of cattle as well as at animal burial sites, and preventive disinfection of animals shall be performed at all stationary points with anthrax risks. Slaughtering without prior authorization of state veterinary and sanitary inspector and trade of meat and meat-based products without veterinary and sanitary expertise.
