The main tasks and duties of the state protection of wildlife shall be: (a) prevention and suppression of the offences; (b) reporting to law enforcement bodies and courts on the violation of the national legislation on wildlife. The state wildlife protection bodies shall carry out the following functions: (a) protection of rare and endangered wildlife species; (b) law enforcement; (c) protection of habitats; (d) reproduction of wildlife species, including rare and endangered ones; (e) supervision over the epizootic situation of wildlife and (f) education.
