Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that state subsoil monitoring shall be the system of explorations related to the state of subsoil with a view of ensuring rational management of public stock of subsoil and timely identification of changes, evaluation, prevention and mitigation of the consequences of negative processes. The object of monitoring and exploration shall be national subsoil. State subsoil monitoring shall be integral part of state environmental monitoring. State subsoil monitoring system shall include: (a) groundwater monitoring; (b) monitoring of hazardous exogenous geological processes; (c) monitoring of hazardous endogenous geological processes; (d) monitoring of hydrocarbons deposits; (e) monitoring of solid minerals’ deposits; (f) monitoring of the plots of subsoil not related to exploration and mining purposes; and (g) monitoring of the plots of subsoil subject to economic activities impact.
