Abstract The Government decrees as follows: 1) To establish that state inventory, keeping state cadastre and state monitoring of wildlife species on the territory of the Russian Federation and within the boundaries of continental shelf and Exclusive Economic Zone of the Russian Federation are kept in accordance with the unified standards validated by State Committee for Environmental Protection in concordance with the Ministry of Natural Resources and compatible with state cadastres of natural resources. 2) To entitle the Ministry of Agriculture and Food with the task of organization and carrying out inventory, keeping cadastre and monitoring of wildlife species subject to hunting, harmful species (except for forest pests). To entitle Federal Fisheries Committee with the task of organization and carrying out inventory, keeping cadastre and monitoring of aquatic animals and fish species subject to catch. To entitle State Committee for Environmental Protection with the task of organization and carrying out inventory, keeping cadastre and monitoring of protected wildlife species and protected fish species. To entitle Federal Forest Service with the task of organization and carrying out inventory, keeping cadastre and monitoring of harmful species included in the special list of forest pests. To entitle the Ministry of Public Health with the task of organization and carrying out inventory, keeping cadastre and monitoring of wildlife species included in the special list of species harmful to human health.
