Abstract

Red Book is an illustrated edition of the list of protected and endangered species and is an integral part of the state register thereof. Red Book contains the list of protected and endangered animals and plants. The grounds for recording species in the Red Book shall be the information of the drastic reduction of the population thereof or the reduction of the populated area. Protected and endangered animal and plant species recorded in the Red Book of IUCN populating the territory of Kazakhstan shall be recorded first of all in the national Red Book.
