The main responsibilities of the Inspectorate shall be: (a) controlling the quality of alcohol and liquors and preventing the trade of fraudulent or adulterated spirits; (b) ensuring that spirits for export comply with international standards; (c) controlling the quality of alimentary raw materials used to process alcohol; and (d) introducing advanced technologies for the processing of spirits.
