Abstract

This Decree designates the State Quality Control Inspectorate as the authority responsible for controlling the quality, storage, transport and trade of alcohol and liquor through the chain of public catering. The main responsibilities of the Inspectorate shall be: (a) controlling the quality of alcohol and liquors and preventing the trade of fraudulent or adulterated spirits; (b) ensuring that spirits for export comply with international standards; (c) controlling the quality of alimentary raw materials used to process alcohol; and (d) introducing advanced technologies for the processing of spirits.
