Abstract This Ministerial Decree establishes that supply of foodstuffs, including import, to the internal market shall be carried out exclusively in then presence of compliance certificate, hygienic, veterinary and/or phytosanitary certificate (in case of necessity) issued by the authorized institution of the Republic of Moldova. The aforesaid documents shall not be requested in case of import of foodstuffs for personal and family consumption. Trade of foodstuffs except for fresh vegetables and fruits shall be carried out by economic entities registered in accordance with the national legislation. Import of animals and products of animal origin shall be authorized from Member States of International Office of Epizootics.
