It applies to all public forests except for protected areas. Use restrictions may be imposed during periods of forest fire risk. Forest management for the aforesaid purposes shall be carried out in accordance with contracts. Forest managers must: (a) observe fire regulations; (b) prevent pollution, protect trees and shrubbery from felling or damage, prevent damage to ant hills and bird nests; (b) collect non-timber products within established periods and by authorized methods; and (c) observe forest legislation.
