Burial points of radioactive waste are classified in accordance with their predestination into the following categories: 1) storage points; 2) burial points. Depending upon their depth in relation to ground surface storage and burial points are classified as: 1) surface points (at the level or over the level of surface ground); 2) adjoining surface points (thickness of protection layer is up to 10 metres below daylight surface; 3) abyssal points (waste is stored at the depth of over 10 metres from daylight surface).
