Abstract This Ministerial Decree implements CITES Convention and establishes the modalities of registration of protected wild animals kept in captivity or that are CITES samples. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection shall be the state institution authorized to carry out the aforesaid registration. The applicant shall submit to the Ministry the following documentation: (a) application; (b) photographs of wild animals subject to registration; and (c) certificates attesting legal ownership of wild animals, parts or derivates thereof. Annex 1 contains application form, Annex 2 contains registration form, Annex 3 contains registration certificate form, and Annex 4 contains register for recording of registration certificates.
