Abstract

Red Book is the main register containing data on rare, protected and endangered animal and plant species. Animal species (mammals, birds, reptiles, insects). Species recorded in the Red Book shall be subject to special protection on the whole of the national territory. Hunting of animals and collection of plants recorded in the Red Book shall be prohibited. The Red Book shall be composed of two volumes: animals and plants. Each species shall have the name transcription in Latin, Russian and Kazakh languages, picture, number, geographic area, data on the possibility of captive breeding, protective arrangements and data sources.
