Abstract

This Ministerial Decree sets forth the modalities for the registration of food processing enterprises. All food processing enterprises operating on the territory of Kazakhstan that manufacture commodities subject to sanitary and epidemiological inspection shall be subject to compulsory registration. The authorized state veterinary institution shall be responsible for registering and keeping the registry of food processing enterprises and for assigning to each a numeric code. Food processing enterprises shall submit the following documentation to the local executive body: (a) application; (b) copy of state registration certificate; and (c) the list of manufactured foodstuffs. Numeric codes shall specify the type and serial number of the food processing enterprise.
