Abstract This Decree states that the supply of wildlife products shall be carried out with the permit of the State Committee of Control over Ecology and the Use of Natural Resources. The products derived from wild fauna and flora includes honey, propolis, beeswax, hormones, feathers, venom and other products. This Decree aims at ensuring that the use of wildlife products does not threaten their survival. The supply of wildlife products are prohibited during the following circumstances: (i) winter sleep, (ii) copulation and reproduction, (iii) restoration, and (iv) growth phase.
