Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Ministry on Emergency Situations shall be authorized state executive body carrying out common state policy in the sphere of Civil protection, fire extinguishing, radiation safety, safety of persons in waterbodies and hydrometeorology. The Ministry shall carry out the following tasks: (a) monitoring and forecast of hazardous natural and technological disasters and phenomena, and protection of the population against thereof; (b) prevention of emergency situations; and (c) mitigation of the consequences of disasters.
