The Committee shall carry out the following tasks: (a) implementation of state policy in the sphere of safe management of nuclear energy, including prevention of hazardous environmental impact of ionizing radiation; (b) state registration and supervision over nuclear materials and ionizing radiation; (c) research; and (d) import and export of nuclear materials and radioactive substances.
