Risk factors for human health, originating in the process of life cycle of food additives shall be considered excess of contents of: (a) toxic substances; (b) mycotoxins; (c) pesticides; (d) radionuclides; (e) medicinal substances; (f) hormonal and psychotropic drugs; (g) dosage; and (h) mechanical and microbiological product contamination. Safety assessment of food additives shall be determined by: (a) safety of raw materials used for processing of food additives; (b) identification of food additives by xenobiotics; (c) analysis of each identified risk; (d) correct composition of food additives; and (e) risk reduction.
