To this end, the Agency shall: (a) perform geological surveys; (b) assess mineral deposits; (c) evaluate geological exploration projects; (d) validate the list of common minerals; (e) manage state geological information on subsoil; (f) register mineral deposits; and (g) license prospecting, exploration and mining.
