Ministerial Decree No. 1061 validating the Regulation on attribution of status of pedigree farm, pedigree centre and distribution centre, and also certification (re-certification) of the operators in the sphere of pedigree stockbreeding.

Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that natural and legal persons qualifying for status of pedigree farm, pedigree centre and distribution centre, and also for assistance in the sphere of pedigree stockbreeding shall pass state certification. The aforesaid status shall be attributed by decision of local executive body. Natural and legal persons shall submit to the authorized body the following documentation: (a) application; (b) notarized copy of certificate of state registration of legal person; and (c) documentation attesting compliance with the established requirements. Requirements set for the attribution of status of pedigree farm and pedigree centre include: (a) availability of selection and pedigree stockbreeding plans; (b) compliance with quantitative and qualitative productivity indices of animals; (c) availability of stock keeping facilities; (d) availability of animal foodstuffs; (e) continuous registration of origin, productivity and quality of pedigree animals for the past 5 years; (f) compulsory annual certification of young stock; and (g) availability of qualified personnel.
