Entry into force notes

This Decree enters into force on the day it is published.

Abstract

This Decree aims at regulating the rules regarding the inspection and analysis, registration and inclusion in the permitted substances list of pesticides, biological preparations and agrochemical substances. It sets forth that the pesticides, biological preparations and agrochemical substances must respond to both the state standards and the international standards officially recognized by the Republic of Azerbaijan. The sale and use of the above mentioned substances which are not in accordance with the standards after their inspection and analysis are prohibited by this Decree. Real and legal persons engaged in the production, import, export, sale and use of pesticides, biological preparations and agrochemical substances must apply to the Ministry of Agriculture. The inspection, analysis and the registration of these substances are made by the Council of Experts of relevant scientific research institutions. The registration and the certification of the pesticides, biological preparations and agrochemical substances shall be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture.
