The present Regulation establishes the modalities of carrying radiation inspection of the forestland and classification of planning quarters of forests as areas of radioactive pollution. It shall be applicable to the areas of radioactive pollution because of the Chernobyl disaster. Classification the public forest stock as areas of radioactive pollution shall be carried out in conformity with the Annex 1. The grounds for classification of planning quarters of forests as areas of radioactive pollution shall be pollution density of soil with caesium-137.
