Abstract

This Ministerial Decree establishes that state registration, recording and monitoring of wild fauna shall be carried out for the purpose of state management, protection, reproduction and sustainable use of wildlife, and also for the conservation of biological diversity and protection of habitats of wild fauna. Registration, recording and monitoring includes the totality of information on the state and geographic range of wild fauna, the number of species and data on natural habitats thereof. Registration, recording and monitoring of wild fauna shall be carried out in accordance with unified system by the following categories: (a) mammals; (b) birds; (c) reptiles; (d) amphibians; (e) fishes; and (f) invertebrates, including insects.
