This Decree comes into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic.
Abstract

This Decree, considering the rules contained in the Council Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption, concerning the exemptions to the quality characteristics of the water intended for human consumption for the regions of Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Sicily, Tuscany and the autonomous provinces of Bolzano and Trento, after motivated requests of the Tuscany region, here adopts the Italian Tuscany Region possible derogations as regards the regional competency regarding water intended for human consumption (chemical parameters, see article 1).
