Abstract

The natural marine area to be known as “Secche di Paterno” is hereby established for the achievement of the following aims: (a) conservation of the marine area concerned; (b) protection and improvement of biological resources; (c) fish repopulation; (d) dissemination of information regarding the ecology and biology of marine environments; (e) performance of study and scientific research programmes. Particular activities that may interfere with the protection and conservation of the characteristics of the marine area (such as hunting, capture of animals, collection of plants and navigation) are forbidden under article 4 of the Decree.
