Abstract This Decree provides for the executive Regulations of the law of fishing and aquaculture, and is composed of 41 articles. In this Decree, are present all regulations of fish farms and information about authorization processes. Article No. 4 prohibits the presence of unauthorized weapons, fishing machines or nets that do not abide by the required standards. Article 5 bans any hunting, selling or possession of fish whether fresh, dried or salted from natural sources less than specific length barriers of fish. According to this Decree, cooperatives of water resources, fisherman, and fish farms’ owners have to submit all the statistical data on fishing operations, and fish production and marketing . All scientific and technical bodies are authorized to do aquatic researches and conduct experiments in authorized areas of fishing, and can use any boats, tools, or devices that they think are needed, as well as getting assistance from fisherman to get fish samples.
